SMS Messaging Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

This SMS Messaging Policy describes the Rebuzz text messaging program, operated by Freedom Services and Solutions LLC (“Rebuzz”), a Utah limited liability company. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Program description

Rebuzz is a missed-call recovery service for small service businesses (such as plumbers, electricians, therapists, and contractors). When a customer calls a business that subscribes to Rebuzz and the call is not answered, our system automatically sends a conversational SMS to the caller on behalf of the business. The message acknowledges the missed call and invites the caller to describe what they need.

An AI assistant then engages in a back-and-forth text conversation on behalf of the business: it gathers details, answers common questions, and helps schedule appointments. Messages are transactional and conversational in nature, not marketing or promotional.

Who sends the messages

Messages are sent on behalf of the Rebuzz subscriber (the business) the end user called. Rebuzz provides the technology; the subscriber is the sender of record for consent purposes.

How end users opt in

End users opt in to the Rebuzz SMS program implicitly by initiating a phone call to a business that subscribes to Rebuzz. By placing the call, the end user is reaching out to the business and providing their phone number to the business for the purpose of continuing the conversation.

Rebuzz subscribers are required to disclose the automated SMS follow-up on their voicemail greeting, business signage, website, or in a written intake form, so that end users are aware that missed calls will receive an automatic SMS reply.

What you will receive

After calling a Rebuzz subscriber, you may receive:

  • An initial SMS acknowledging the missed call and inviting you to describe what you need
  • Follow-up SMS replies from the AI assistant addressing your questions and proposing appointment times
  • Appointment confirmations and, where applicable, reminders

Every message clearly identifies the business it comes from. Every message includes the ability to reply STOP to opt out.

Message frequency

Frequency depends on the back-and-forth of the conversation. Typically 2 to 10 messages are exchanged per missed-call event. You will not receive unsolicited marketing messages.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Rebuzz and its subscribers do not charge you for messages; your wireless carrier’s standard rates apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

HELP command

Reply HELP to any message to receive information about the program. You will receive an auto-reply that identifies the sending business, provides our support contact, and links to these Terms.

STOP command

Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from further messages from that Rebuzz subscriber. The following keywords are also honored as opt-out: UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. You will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages from that subscriber unless you explicitly opt in again.

Supported carriers

The Rebuzz SMS program supports major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Rebuzz does not sell, rent, lease, or share end-user phone numbers or SMS content with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle data.
